I was organizing my 4 to 6 new bookmarks from the "Recently Bookmarked" folder
into their proper folders. I then cut/deleted those bookmarks from there.
Bookmarks from the general folder population kept migrating in small groups of
2 to 3 into the same folder, i.e. the "Recently Bookmarked" folder. I then
would delete or cut these from there but then there would be 2 to 3 bookmarks
newly appearing there. I noticed that these were coming from the rest of my
folders. So I cut/deleted those and others would newly pop into that folder.
I kept repeating the del/cut action and others would appear there. I checked
the contents of my other folders and noticed that my bookmarks were gone from
their proper folders!

Version: 115.12.0esr-1+rm
src:iceweasel has been superseded by src:firefox-esr in version
45.0esr-1 in March 2016. Transitional packages to ease upgrades were
provided in the wheezy, jessie, stretch and buster releases. The
transitional packages have been removed finally before the bullseye
release in August 2021.
After regular security support for buster ended in August 2022 and LTS
support ended in June 2024, I'm closing the remaining bug reports now.
