* What led up to the situation?
Executing a web page with the following (correct)html:

<style>body{height:99999px;background:linear-gradient(0deg,#000,#fff);}</style>
....
* What was the outcome of this action?
The linear gradient should end at the bottom of my page, but it did
not.
- In version 17 of iceweasel on debian stable random patterns appeared
after that.
- In firefox 26 on windows 7 no patterns showed up, but when switching
tab when on the end of gradient and then switching back to the tab, the page
was fully black or white. (but the scollbar did not move)
Wat makes this a weird thing, is that this is the case for all
parameters of linear-gradient.
Also the issue is there on different operating systems and complete
different versions of firefox.
No backtrace was shown, thats why I think that this is just a cosmetic issue,
but please double check this.

src:iceweasel has been superseded by src:firefox-esr in version
45.0esr-1 in March 2016. Transitional packages to ease upgrades were
provided in the wheezy, jessie, stretch and buster releases. The
transitional packages have been removed finally before the bullseye
release in August 2021.
After regular security support for buster ended in August 2022 and LTS
support ended in June 2024, I'm closing the remaining bug reports now.
