--- Begin Message ---Package: sawfish Version: 1:1.3+cvs20050709-4 Severity: normal x86-64 sawfish go wrong when x-client requests 'to be sticky'. After that, window frames shrink. Following these steps below(picked gkrellm), that problem always happen on my host: 1. Start x with "xinit", xterm only Xserver wake up. 2. From that xterm, start sawfish with "/usr/bin/sawfish &" 3. "rm -rf ~/.gkrellm2", to be sure clean configuration state. 4. Start some client which can request sticky state, like "gkrellm". 5. On gkrellm window, hit F1 key and open gkrellm configuration window. 6. Selecting 'General > Properties > Set Stick State' check box 'checked', immediately sawfish dumps error: Bad argument: #<subr make-vector>, 73786976294838206464, 1 7. After that, new x-client window started appears with broken window frame. It doesn't cause problem making window sticky from sawfish menu. In chrooted environment, i386 version of sawfish works with no problem. So I suppose this is sawfish bug only happen in x86-64 environment. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.11-9-amd64-k8 Locale: LANG=ja_JP.eucJP, LC_CTYPE=ja_JP.eucJP (charmap=EUC-JP) Versions of packages sawfish depends on: ii eterm [x-terminal-emulato 0.9.2-8.1 Enlightened Terminal Emulator ii gnome-terminal [x-termina 2.10.0-2 The GNOME 2 terminal emulator appl ii konsole [x-terminal-emula 4:3.3.2-1 KDE X terminal emulator ii kterm [x-terminal-emulato 6.2.0-45 Multi-lingual terminal emulator fo ii libatk1.0-0 1.10.1-2 The ATK accessibility toolkit ii libaudiofile0 0.2.6-6 Open-source version of SGI's audio ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-22 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libesd0 0.2.36-1 Enlightened Sound Daemon - Shared ii libfontconfig1 2.3.2-1.bold generic font configuration library ii libfreetype6 2.1.10-1 FreeType 2 font engine, shared lib ii libglib2.0-0 2.6.6-1 The GLib library of C routines ii libgmp3 4.1.4-6 Multiprecision arithmetic library ii libgtk2.0-0 2.6.9-1 The GTK+ graphical user interface ii libice6 6.8.2.dfsg.1-4 Inter-Client Exchange library ii libpango1.0-0 1.8.2-1 Layout and rendering of internatio ii librep9 0.17-11 an embeddable Emacs-Lisp-like runt ii libsm6 6.8.2.dfsg.1-4 X Window System Session Management ii libx11-6 6.8.2.dfsg.1-4 X Window System protocol client li ii libxext6 6.8.2.dfsg.1-4 X Window System miscellaneous exte ii libxft2 2.1.7-1bold FreeType-based font drawing librar ii libxrender1 1:0.9.0-2 X Rendering Extension client libra ii mlterm [x-terminal-emulat 2.9.2-2 MultiLingual TERMinal ii multi-gnome-terminal [x-t 1.6.2-11 Enhanced the GNOME Terminal ii powershell [x-terminal-em 0.9-8 powerful terminal emulator for GNO ii rep-gtk 0.18-9 GTK binding for librep ii rxvt [x-terminal-emulator 1:2.6.4-6.2 VT102 terminal emulator for the X ii rxvt-ml [x-terminal-emula 1:2.6.4-6.2 multi-lingual VT102 terminal emula ii xlibs 6.8.2.dfsg.1-4 X Window System client libraries m ii xterm [x-terminal-emulato 6.8.2.dfsg.1-4 X terminal emulator ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3-1 compression library - runtime sawfish recommends no packages. -- no debconf information

--- Begin Message --->>>>> "LRGC" == Luis Rodrigo Gallardo Cruz <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> writes: LRGC> Did this bug reappear with 1.3+cvs20060518-3 or was it never LRGC> really solved? I've upgraded from 1.3+cvs20060518-2 to 1.3+cvs20060518-3 and I can't see the bug anymore. I've removed all sticky settings before, so I'm not sure whether this is because something got fixed in -3 or other upgraded Debian package or because the bug appears only with special configuration settings. Anyway, as I can't see the bug now, I'm closing it again. Regards, Milan Zamazal
