Dear Maintainer,

asahi-scripts uses an initramfs-tools hook to install the simple-mfd-spmi and
the nvmem_spmi_mfd kernel modules in the initramfs. However, starting from
linux-asahi 6.15 (as distributed e.g. by the Bananas Team and other third
parties), these were superseeded by the apple_nvmem_spmi module. While
empirically apple_nvmem_spmi is being installed in the initramfs nonetheless,
this only happens because the module is being pulled in as a dependency of some
other module. If the dependency were to be dropped in future kernel releases,
asahi-scripts in its current state may leave Debian unbootable on Apple
machines.

Cheers!
