Package: gdm3
Version: 3.0.4-4
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

I just updated a couple of packages, one of which pulled in the upgrade from
gdm2 to gdm3. Now, there is no option to start the "previous session". The
sessions drop down list defaults to "system default". But if you try to login
this fails because a system default seemingly doesn't exist. Also, after
selecting xfce session, loging in and out again, the next login will again
default to "system default" instead of an option "previous session" as there
was with gdm2. This is very inconvenient.

Kind regards

Andreas
