Package: gnome-panel
Version: 2.26.2-1
Severity: normal
Since version 2.24 the notification area in gnome panel fails to free space
allocated to an application icon when that application exits.
As a consequence the notification area tends to grow each time I launch an app
that sits in the area.
The only solution is to kill and restart gnome-panel.
I have attached a screenshot to show the problem.
