Package: gnome-power-manager
Version: 2.22.1-4
Severity: important
iBook G3, 500mhz (dual usb)
Solved the issue by killing gnome-power-manager.
Was having a problem with the monitor's brightness setting not sticking when
set with the hotkeys (works fine when changed using the brightness applet).
Monitor would revert to a former brightness level shortly after (15-60 seconds).
Message seen (whilst in tty) when brightness would revert: 'ondemand governor
failed, too long transition latency of HW, fallback to performance governor'.
