Dear Maintainer,
I had set Caps Lock for switching to another layout in GNOME Shell. The
expected behaviour is:
Press Caps Lock → switch to the next layout.
Press Caps Lock again → return to the default layout.
And it was working fine till now. But after upgrading to GNOME Shell 49 on
Debian testing, it switch the layout back quickly and after a few rapid
presses, the session hangs and the CPU spikes up, sounds like an infinite‑loop
in the layout‑switch handling.
