Severity: important
Dear Maintainer,
Just writing to report freezes that regularly occur when I leave WSJTX running
to report received messages to PSK reporter or Whispr. I've noticed this
happens with FT8 and Whispr, I haven't seen enough traffic on other modes to
try them.
For example last night I left it running from 2300 till the morning. When I got
back to use it, it was frozen and the last received messages were around 0400.
So it ran happily for 5 hours before freezing. I also left it running one day
with reception reports turned off, and it was still frozen when I came back
later. There are no errors in the terminal when it freezes, and I also have to
kill JT9 to get it to restart.
WSJTX otherwise works perfectly, can transmit and receive properly using USB
CAT control.
ICOM IC-705 transceiver.
USB /dev/ttyACM0, everything on defaults. data-pkg mode.
