For instance: $ xdm Only root wants to run xdm $ echo $? 1 Thanks!* Unfortunately while this claim might be useful 10 years ago, the placement of xdm binary will unlikely be changed given upstream stalling development condition. * Furthermore, moving it to /usr/sbin/ from /usr/bin/ will likely trigger too many unexpected breakages and cross-distribution incompatibilities (Note: all other Linux distros are all using /usr/bin/ for xdm). * Besides, using /usr/sbin/ is not in line with the (broadly-speaking, not narrowly-defined) usr-merge effort.
