<reporter> uh oh, I'm not a huge fan of processes so I hope I can just drop
this here and maybe it will get included at some point for Debian OpenArena
builds, this at least affects Ubuntu:
https://gist.githubusercontent.com/hifi/1430dc543225abcc4384190c1e44484b/raw/75cb4c8d227b8ef0853ee567fe1450d98c72b29c/0001-Fix-OpenArena-crashing-on-map-load.patch
<reporter> as a fix for this downstream bug:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openarena/+bug/1651561/comments/26
I do not have details of which versions are affected, whether Debian
is affected at all or whether it is triggered by some Ubuntu compiler
default change, or whether there are any additional steps to reproduce.
Version 0.8.8+dfsg-2 seems to work fine for me on Debian unstable: I can
load single-player levels from the menu, use the \map console command
to switch between single-player levels, and join multiplayer servers.
