Dear Maintainer,
The current "clapper" package includes not only the software and its data
files, but also several shared libraries, gobject-introspection data and
development files (C headers, pkg-config files...).
This implies any software linked against libclapper, for example, will have to
depend on the full "clapper" package instead of just the library. Likewise, any
user of this software will also have all the development files installed, which
are only necessary for actually developing with libclapper.
Additionally, the development files also need the development files for
gstreamer-plugins-base and several other libs, which should therefore be
dependencies for this package.
Could you please split this package so the shared libraries, development files
and gobject-introspection data are all shipped in separate packages?
