The homepage field points to the same one as src:python-ilorest,
why is that so?
I would actually like to see version 7 packaged.
Best,
Alex

Hi Alex,
Absolutely not. python-ilorest points to:
https://github.com/HewlettPackard/python-ilorest-library
while ilorest points to:
https://github.com/HewlettPackard/python-redfish-utility
Also, there's currently an issue with version 7: it requires the
ilorest_chiff.so non-free library to run. This is an issue that's been
ongoing since version 6. I contacted upstream about it, but so far got
no answer about when it's going to be fixed. It appears the issue is in
the library (ie: src:python-ilorest).
I've put Carsten Schoenert <[email protected]> as CC as he's
co-maintaining python-ilorest with me now.
FYI, I updated python-ilorest in Salsa at:
https://salsa.debian.org/python-team/packages/python-ilorest
It would have been ready for an upload ... but can't upload upload it
because of the earlier mentioned ilorest-chif issue.
Cheers,
Thomas Goirand (zigo)
