xpra in unstable seems to have most recently been built successfully on
32-bit architectures in 2023 (possibly due to #1067627), and still
Depends on libglib2.0-0 on armhf and i386 (plus -ports architectures
hppa, ia64, m68k, sh4 and x32). libglib2.0-0 was superseded by
libglib2.0-0t64 in early 2024 during the time_t transition.

On the release architectures, this is keeping the obsolete libglib2.0-0
around as a "cruft" package, which in turn is causing problems for
piuparts testing of newer versions of src:glib2.0 (#1111475). On the
-ports architectures, if I understand correctly it will be
uninstallable, because the dak reimplementation used for -ports
immediately removes "cruft" even if something depends on it.

ftp team: please consider removing xpra:armhf (it's uninstallable) and
perhaps xpra:i386 (still installable, but only because
libglib2.0-0t64:i386 still has its old ABI and therefore Provides the
old name). It doesn't appear to have any rdeps, and isn't in testing.

-ports team (cc'd): it might be a good idea to remove xpra from the
affected architectures on -ports too, for consistency.

Thanks,
    smcv

We believe that the bug you reported is now fixed; the following
package(s) have been removed from unstable:

      xpra | 3.1.5+dfsg1-0.2+b2 | armhf, i386

------------------- Reason -------------------
RoQA; not built since 2023, still depends on pre-t64 libraries
----------------------------------------------

Note that the package(s) have simply been removed from the tag
database and may (or may not) still be in the pool; this is not a bug.
The package(s) will be physically removed automatically when no suite
references them (and in the case of source, when no binary references
it). Please also remember that the changes have been done on the
master archive and will not propagate to any mirrors until the next
dinstall run at the earliest.

Packages are usually not removed from testing by hand. Testing tracks
unstable and will automatically remove packages which were removed
from unstable when removing them from testing causes no dependency
problems. The release team can force a removal from testing if it is
really needed, please contact them if this should be the case.

Bugs which have been reported against this package are not automatically
removed from the Bug Tracking System. Please check all open bugs and
close them or re-assign them to another package if the removed package
was superseded by another one.

The version of this package that was in Debian prior to this removal
can still be found using https://snapshot.debian.org/.

Thank you for reporting the bug, which will now be closed. If you
have further comments please address them to [email protected].
