Hi Jelmer,
Maybe this package should be removed:
* it's packaging is outdated (debhelper 9)
--> that's how I stumbled on it
* it's archive upstream
* nothing use it in Debian
* it's popcon is low.
Greetings
Alexandre

Hi Andreas, Alexandre,
Thanks for the ping. Apparently I already added the package
to the python team in 2020, but never did an upload with the
updated Vcs-* flags.
I'd like to keep the package around, since it will be
an optional dependency for dulwich in the future.
Cheers,
Jelmer

Hi Jelmer,
I stumbled upon the package due to the Bug of the Day initiative. I
have no strong opinion about removing or not. However, if you might
prefer keeping it inside Debian I'd happily lend a helping hand to
migrate it to the Debian Python team (which also should solve
Alexandre's problem since debhelper compat can be bumped easily by
some team upload.
Just raise your opinion what might be the best solution.
See you hopefully at FOSDEM
Andreas.
