Package: libpcre2-dev
Severity: wishlist

Please consider extracting pcre2-config to its own package. It is the
only file that differs between archs and does not have an
architecture-specific path.

Most packages nowadays resort to using pkgconf for the purpose of
getting the right build configuration, so this should not affect too
many packages. If you are willing to make the change, I am going to care
about the pcre2-config users in the Debian archive and provide them with
patches.

Actually, the pkg is already Multi-Arch: same.
Somehow I thought differently.
