The cause seems to be the patch
Prevent-installing-gftools-add-ds-subsets.patch, which in turn
seemingly is caused by ufomerge not in Debian, which in turn is pending
NEW queue processing, as tracked in bug#1113937.
This bugreport is filed as a more verbose alternative to simply tagging
bug#1113937 as affecting bug#1121129, silently¹ closed by the
maintainer of gftools and ufomerge.
