Hi,
while I share the view, that it's not ideal that no tesseract languages
are installed by default, I fail to believe that installing
tesseract-ocr-eng by default makes things better. Ideally we'd ask the
user which language files to install, but that's not trivial to implement.
gImageReader has a built-in feature to at least point the user to the
needed package. From my pov that's enough already.
