Following a recent upgrade, korganiser, kmail, akonadi_unifiedmailbox_agent and
presumably others are failing to start with messages like the following:
korganizer: symbol lookup error:
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libKPim6MessageComposer.so.6: undefined symbol:
_ZN17TextAddonsWidgets23RichTextQuickTextFormat14setFormatTypesERK6QFlagsINS0_19QuickTextFormatTypeEE
This stops happening if I `apt install libkf6textaddonswidgets1=1.8.0-1
libkf6textautogeneratetext1=1.8.0-1` (using snapshots.d.o).
It appears that the current version of messagelib is not compatible with the
current version of ktextaddons.
The following Arch bug appears to suggest that a simple rebuild against the new
library version resolved the issue for them:
