If I reply to a message I sent, the To is not set to the addressee,
which is what would be expected, but to yourself.
The only reason I can think of replying a message you sent to yourself
would be a test or a note, which is way by far not the usual thing. On
such a case a follow-up to the addressee is usually what is intended,
and the common practice by MUAs.
