Package: xless
Version: 1.7-12.1

Under Debian GNU/Linux 3.0 woody, xless no longer has scrollbars. Under 2.2
potato, it did. I have set up perhaps half a dozen woody hosts, and the
problem (no scrollbars) occurs in every case, regardless whether it was a
fresh install or an upgrade, and regardless whether I display it on a local
or remote X server.

This can't be intentional! The scrollbars are the best feature of xless,
especially since they work like Emacs scrollbars (left click next to a line
positions that line precisely at the top, etc). Without the scrollbars,
xless is close to useless, a real shame.

The /etc/app-defaults/XLess file is identical to the previous version except
that the prefix 'XLess' has been removed from the beginning of each line.

This may be a problem with some library or widget package rather than with
xless itself.

Depends: libc6 (>= 2.2.4-4), libxaw7 (>> 4.1.0), xlibs (>> 4.1.0)

Installed on my machines:

Debian GNU/Linux 3.0 (i386)
Kernel: Linux 2.2.20
libc6 Version: 2.2.5-11.1
libxaw7 Version: 4.1.0-16
xlibs Version: 4.1.0-16
