Package: beets
Version: 2.5.1-2
Severity: wishlist
X-Debbugs-Cc: [email protected]
Upstream is at 2.6.1. I started working on updating the debian package.
I've not pushed my update yet as there is a new dependency which is not yet in
debian: https://github.com/JWCook/requests-ratelimiter/
I started packaging that as python-requests-ratelimiter, but ... turns out it
depends on https://github.com/vutran1710/PyrateLimiter/tree/v2.10.0 <- v2.
PyrateLimiter is in debian in package python3-pyrate-limiter but at version
3.9.0.
requests-ratelimiter has a merge request in review to move to PyrateLimiter v4.
There are still some issues there today though.
I'm keeping an eye out for now.
Until that settles, beets will probably stay at 2.5.1.
I've opened this bug to inform anyone who wants to point out that there is a
beets update.
