May I recommend adding a section on how to package webscripts?
Some debian packages apparently do a good job, e.g. IMP I think. But some
leave half the setup for you to fiddle around manually, e.g.
request-tracker.
Ideally the debian package would take care of all the fiddly bits for a
default install, and even better, this procedure would be roughly standard
across debian webscript packages.
E,g,
* setup a database if needed (in MySQL or PostgreSQL etc. according to the
sysadmin's preference)
* make sure apache has the right modules and execution permissions for
where the webscripts are placed
* setup a default user under the webscript if the webscript has users
* setup mail aliases if the webscript needs to receive mail
* generally do something useful out of the box: the sysadmin can always
customise later
