Package: qbrew
Version: 0.3.5-2
Severity: normal
I have found a repeatable segfault with qbrew trying to use the
Database Tool option to apply a change to an existing ingredient.
To produce the segfault:
* start qbrew
* select Tools->Database Editor
* modify the Name of "Amber D.M.E." to be "Amber D.M.E. (foo)"
* click "+" to add this grain
* now edit the Name to be "Amber D.M.E." (so you are creating a duplicate)
* click the check mark to modify the selection
* the program should segfault
There are some other similar sequences that will reproduce the segfault.
For example, add a new type of yeast (under the Misc tab), change the
value in Notes, and then apply.
Please let me know if you'd like an strace of the segfault on my system.
Thanks,
tony

Description:
qbrew - Homebrewer's recipe calculator (uses Qt)
Closes: 343910
Changes:
qbrew (0.3.9-1) unstable; urgency=low
.
* New upstream release
- Code has been rewritten to work with Qt 4
- The Database Tool uses a new Qt view class, the segfault which
existed in the Qt 3 version is no longer present. Closes: #343910
* patches/ directory
- All former code changes are integrated or obsolete after the
upstream rewrite
- The library linking is done much smarter now, so that the stripping
of unneeded libraries (introduced in the previous upload) is no
longer necessary.
- New patch to drop a build dependency on libqt4-debug-dev
- New patch to install the handbook and primer HTML files in a
proper location
- New patch to fix a typo in the copyright dialog box
* Build-Depends on quilt to manage the patches
* Remove Build-Depends on autotools-dev. The build system uses qmake,
which does not need config.sub and config.guess.
* Add new file "install" which is used to copy the qbrew handbook and
brewing primer to the appropriate locations
* Register the brewing primer with doc-base
* Update Standards-Version to 3.7.2, no changes needed
