Package: screen
Version: 4.6.2-3
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
After a fresh eboot, trying to create a screen session fails with:
[phil@rider ~]$ screen
Cannot make directory '/run/screen': Permission denied
It's easy enough to make a 'screen' dir with 777 perms as screen
expects, but the user shouldn't have to do this manually.

Hi all,
There has been no activity or further reports on this bug since 2021.
Closing this report as stale/unreproducible.
Current packaging still provides runtime directory handling for
/run/screen
(systemd tmpfiles, plus a sysvinit fallback), and clean installs contain
the
expected screen-cleanup tmpfiles configuration.
At least one follow-up in this bug indicates a systemd-tmpfiles failure
(systemd-tmpfiles-setup exited with status 73 and logged "unsafe path
transition").
Please feel free to retest with unstable screen 5.0.1 and reopen if this
was
closed in error.
Cheers,
Peter Dey
