Background:
I'm using aewm window manager. It doesn't have virtual desktop support
so I installed a debian package called vdesk. I binded ALT-F1 to ALT-F8
to run "vdesk 1" ... "vdesk 8" so I have 8 virtual desktops, using
xbindkeys.
Usually I have a few windows (xterm, clock, etc) in virtual desktop #1
(vdesk 1) and have gqview running in vdesk 8.
Problem:
Sometimes, but not always, when I press ALT-F8 to switch to desktop 8,
use gqview in either
fullscreen or normal mode, then switch back to desktop 1 by pressing
ALT-F1, I'd found that desktop 1 is empty, all the windows got moved
to desktop 8 for some unknown reason. Switching back to desktop 8 and
all the windows are there, except gqview, which is minimized (hidden).
All other apps I used don't have this problem with vdesk.
