Package: slrn
Version: 0.9.8.1pl1-28
Severity: wishlist
Just what the subject says. Why doesn't "F" strip the existing .sig
(as it usually does) then append mine as .slrnrc has been configured
to do it? "f" and "F" styles of behaviour clash.
I was forwarding from rec.humour.funny, fwiw.

Hi,
This bug was open 19 years ago, but in case you are still using slrn:
'f' stands for followup, you are writing a response using the news
system, and therefore the signature is included.
'F' stands for forward, the expected usage is to send the message to
someone else without changing the message, so there is no need to
include the signature.
So I think this is expected behaviour, and therefore close the bug
without version. If you think I miss something, feel free to reopen.
Kind regards,
Nicolas.
