Package: screen
Version: 4.0.2-3
Severity: important
When entering the copy/scrollback mode (which seems to be easy to do
by mistake), screen blocks the output. And if a server is running in
screen, this leads to denial of service.
screen should either not block the output in copy/scrollback mode or
provide a timeout option (the nonblock option has no effect in copy
mode).
The first solution would be the best to be able to do a scrollback
without disrupting a server.

Hi,
Discussion upstream #63341 seems split whether this is a bug or expected
behaviour.
That's not really our decision to make; and since the bug has been open
upstream since 2022, I presume this won't be fixed.
You are welcome to continue the discussion upstream:
https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?63341
Closing as wontfix.
Cheers,
Peter Dey
