Package: preload
Version: 0.6.4-1
Severity: wishlist

--- Please enter the report below this line. ---

I read this in the README.Debian of readahead package:

"WARNING: Do not profile if you have preload enabled, because in this case,
files loaded by preload would be added to the lists and this slows down future
boots."

It would be nice if preload (or its init scripts) is able to detect when
readhead profiling and delay its start until next boot or until readhead ends
the profiling process.
