Dear Maintainer,

This is a regression introduced after kernel version 7.0.4.

Expected behavior:
Bluetooth initializes successfully on boot and the hci0 device is available.
This works perfectly on kernel 7.0.4.

Actual behavior:
After upgrading to kernel 7.0.7, and confirmed still present in the latest
experimental 7.1~rc3-1~exp1, the Bluetooth daemon starts, but no hardware is
registered. The initialization fails completely.

The following error is output in dmesg:
[ 26.167158] Bluetooth: hci0: Failed to send wmt func ctrl (-22)

Hardware/Setup:
Motherboard: B850M-X
Bluetooth/Wi-Fi chip: MediaTek MT7925
Firmware: firmware-mediatek (version 20260410-1)

Connection to other bugs:
This appears to be the exact same upstream btmtk/btusb regression currently
being reported for other MediaTek chips (such as MT7921 and MT7922 in bugs
#1136790, #1136941, and #1136957), but here confirmed to also affect the MT7925
on the 7.0.y and 7.1.y kernel branches.

Note: The firmware packages were NOT upgraded when this regression appeared,
isolating the issue strictly to the kernel updates. The issue is bypassed by
booting the previous 7.0.4 kernel.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Boot Debian with linux-image-amd64 version 7.0.7 or 7.1-rc3.
2. Check 'dmesg | grep blue' or attempt to use Bluetooth.
