When I edit a launcher (following any of these procedures:

it is not applied until the next reboot:
When launching the application from the dashboard, the old command is still
launched.
It used to work without having to reboot in Debian Wheezy

This bug was reported on GNOME Shell 3.14 (Debian Jessie).
The launcher caching problem has been fixed in later versions of GNOME Shell,
so this behavior is no longer reproducible in current releases.
Closing as fixed in later versions (upstream fix).
Thanks for checking this. This wasn't the correct syntax/destination
address for closing a bug, so I'm doing that now.
