Hello.
There is a bug in awstats which freezes process at some conditions based
on keyword detections. There is original bugreport:

Fix was already merged in 2024:
https://github.com/eldy/AWStats/pull/247/changes
I can confirm it fixed our problem with awstats.

This bug has been fixed in 8.0 So closed.
A new package has been uploaded for the next stable release 13.6
scheduled in July this year.
