Package: xorriso
Severity: wishlist

I suggest adding an option to truncate the last session of an image file (or
more than one session). This would both truncate the image file to the size
before the last session was added, and update the TOC to remove the last
session. In other words, the ISO file would be reverted back to a state before
the last 1 or more sessions were added.

This is useful to reduce an ISO image back to a size where it would fit on a
recordable disc if that size was accidentally exceeded.

Example use:

xorriso -dev example.iso -truncate_last_sessions 2

This would truncate the last 2 sessions.

If there is only one session, the command would return an error.

Closing because the main wish is already fulfilled and files size truncation is
described in message #10
