The upstream 5.8.2 built from source works fine. I found that debian
unvendors podman's go dependencies and uses outdated
https://packages.debian.org/sid/golang-github-containerd-platforms-dev.
Updating golang-github-containerd-platforms-dev to match the version in
podman's repo will fix this issue.
