I did a full upgrade, Buster>Bullseye on the night of the release on my Dell
Latitude E5270.
Afterwards both Bluetooth and the sound applet were gone from the topbar and
the sound keys (F1,F2,F3) no longer controlled the sound.
Doing a Web search for 'debian sound applet gone', I found recommendation for
install or re-install package 'indicator-sound' but that returned 'package is
not available but will be replaced by ayatana-indicator-sound'.
Installing ayatana-indicator-sound also installed a few other items:
