I gave back the build and it succeeded, so this is probably only an
intermittent failure, hence reported as non-RC; but it seemed like
something that maintainers should be aware of, to monitor whether it
happens again. Older build logs don't seem to show this test failing.
(I don't really know what this package is or does, I only noticed this
because the build failure temporarily made its amd64 and i386 instances
non-co-installable).

While it is true that these FTBFS intermittently occurred, they don't do
so anymore ever since 1.5.3-1+b2, cf.
<https://buildd.debian.org/status/logs.php?pkg=srt> where all builds
(except for Hurd which are to be expected) have succeeded since then, so
closing with version 1.5.3-2 now.
