Dear mainteiner,
I start gnome-maps
$ gnome-maps
I left-click the second upper left button (Choose map type)
I left-click to the open pop-up (Open shape layer...)
gnome-maps stop to respond for few second and then it crash with the
following errors:
Gjs-Message: 09:17:48.278: JS LOG: Failed to request Wikipedia metadata:
Impossibile connettersi: I/O sul socket scaduto
Gdk-Message: 09:17:48.314: Lost connection to Wayland compositor.
I have had this problem only once, but i think gnome-maps must not crash
Ciao
Davide

Hello,
I have redirected the wikipedia and wikidata DNS entries in the hosts
file to the localhost
and I was getting "Gjs-Message: 10:33:42.634: JS LOG: Failed to request
Wikidata entities: null" message in the terminal, but the application
didn't crash anytime.
I consider this as done, if the problem still persist, please open a new
bug report.
Thanks,
Dawid Kulas
