an XS wrapper around a C parser. The exported vcard2hash uses the XS version;
hash2vcard serialises in pure Perl.
It was written for the calendar and contacts backend of the FastMail service,
where the pure-Perl VCard parsers then available dominated request time. The
parser handles property groups, folded lines and escaped parameter values
across the VCard 3.0 and 4.0 formats.
The package will be maintained under the umbrella of the Debian Perl Group.
