Dear Maintainer,

EGL is disabled by the Debian Mesa packaging on ppc64.

Without EGL enabled, Mesa does not work correctly on ppc64. In particular, the
resulting Mesa installation is not usable for normal EGL-based graphics
applications.

I have tested this on real ppc64 hardware (PowerPC 970/iMac G5). Adding the
following to debian/rules fixes the problem:

```
ifeq ($(DEB_HOST_ARCH), ppc64)
        confflags += -Degl=enabled
endif
```

With this change, Mesa 26.2.1 builds successfully and the resulting Mesa
installation works correctly on ppc64.

The attached patch, mesa-egl-ppc64.patch, adds this ppc64-specific
configuration.

Please enable EGL when building Mesa for ppc64.

Best regards,
Jeroen Diederen

OK, thanks for the verification!

Did you investigate the FTBFS then? I haven't looked at it yet.
