Dear Maintainer,
*** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where
appropriate ***
* What led up to the situation?
Installed Debian Buster with Cinnamon.
* What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
ineffective)?
Tried to install further Plugins/Extensions for Nemo.
* What was the outcome of this action?
Unfortunately, only 2 plugins for Nemo where available in Debian, but
Nemo comes with more plugins, e.g.:
nemo-compare: nice support for a compare tool, for example Meld (which
is available in Debian).
* What outcome did you expect instead?
Nemo Plugins/Extension available in Debian Cinnamon.

Hi,
a late update on this one.
nemo-compare, the extension mentioned in this report, is now in Debian.
Apart from that, the position of the team has not changed, and the numbers
support it: nemo-compare has around 74 popcon installations, against about
13650 for nemo itself, and the other nemo extensions packaged in Debian
are in
the same range or lower. The remaining upstream extensions are unlikely
to reach
more users than that, so I do not plan to package them myself.
If you (or anyone else) want a specific extension in Debian, the way
forward is
still the one explained above: file an RFP for that package, and feel
free to Cc
the team. We also welcome collaborators willing to maintain acceptable
extensions under the team umbrella.
I am therefore closing this general request: individual RFP bugs are the
right
place for specific extensions.
Thanks,
