Hi,
I have an MGE ellipse 1200 and I've connected it serialy.
It seems that the data is about always stale.
My /etc/nut/ups.conf:
[myups]
driver = mge-shut
port = /dev/ttyS0
upsc shows those:
driver.name: mge-shut
driver.parameter.port: /dev/ttyS0
driver.version: 2.0.1
driver.version.internal: 0.60

It's doing this about every 5 minutes. It's more stale
than not. I don't think setting maxage higher is going to
solve anything since the data is stale for 5 minutes. And
about 15 seconds later it's stale again.

Hi Kurt,
thanks a lot for this update.
as a side note, I'm in the process of rewritting mge-shut by merging
it with newhidups (this is the same HID core). And there will be some
runtime improvements to be expected for the shut part.
2006/9/2, Kurt Roeckx <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>:
Hi,
Since I've set MAXAGE to 30 in upsd.conf, I didn't have this problem
anymore.
Kurt
thanks again,
Arnaud
