Package: kbd

Hello,

The kbd package depends on the sysvinit package. I am in the process
of introducing a sysvinit alternative[0], and the given dependency is
an obstacle in my way.

0. http://lists.debian.org/debian-devel/2006/09/msg00070.html

As I understand it, the dependency was introduced to work around a
complication during the introduction of invoke-rc.d. It can hence be
considered legacy and obsolete by now.

Thus, please remove the sysvinit dependency from kbd. If you see
problems, please contact me so we can resolve them by whatever means
are necessary.

Also, please keep in mind that a versioned conflict is sometimes more
appropriate than a versioned dependency.

Thanks, Martin Krafft
