Package: sl-modem-source
Version: 2.9.8-1
Severity: minor

I've been using sl-modem-source with the 2.6.6 kernel in the UK, France, and
Norway
this summer, and it works incredibly well. My US laptop came with XP installed
and the
modem does not have the software needed to work in Norway.

Sorry, this isn't a bug report at all, just kudos -- I'm thrilled to have this
work,
and it's cool that the Linux driver supports my softmodem better than Windows
does.

The Debian packaging works great -- the module recompiles every time I build a
new
kernel, using make-kpkg -rev 1 modules_image. Big relief.

Thanks!
David

PS When you close the bug report, maybe you could let me know if there's a
place to
direct praise and appreciation?

The package maintainer's email address should be easy enough to find on the
Debian
website or somewhere in /usr/share/doc/<package>.

Thanks should go direct to the maintainer's email address. :-)
