Package: libpisock-dev
Version: 0.11.8-10
Severity: normal

/usr/lib/libpisock.la
has an unnecessary readline requirement in:
dependency_libs=' -lncurses -lreadline'
(this is what the kdepim developers tell me.)

Probably the same holds true for:
/usr/lib/libpisock++.la
/usr/lib/libpisync.la

On the other hand: If the requirement is correct
than the packaged would need to have a dependency
on libreadline-dev or so.

Hello,

The bug you reported has been closed by a version of pilot-link uploaded
in experimental. Version 0.12.1 is now stable upstream and has been
uploaded in Debian unstable so the bug is really closed now.

Thanks,
