Package: pilot-link
Version: 0.11.8-10
Severity: normal

When asking the user for
shared/pilot/port: ttyUSB[]
during configuration, it would be VERY helpful if you mentioned

two Sony models use /dev/ttyUSB0, and the rest of the Sony and
     Palm models use /dev/ttyUSB1

so the user doesn't have to spend hours figuring out what's wrong
until he finally comes across it in README.usb.gz!

Better yet, mention "see the bottom of /usr/share/doc/pilot-link/README.usb.gz
for a long list".

(P.S., When reconfiguring from ttyUSB0 to ttyUSB1, the 660 permissions
aren't restored to ttyUSB0. No big deal.)

Hello,

The bug you reported has been closed by a version of pilot-link uploaded
in experimental. Version 0.12.1 is now stable upstream and has been
uploaded in Debian unstable so the bug is really closed now.

Thanks,
