Package: dpkg
Version: 1.6.15.2
Severity: minor

When invoking dselect within an Eterm I note that only character-spaces
with text in them have the black background imposed by dselect as a
default text background - this is particually noticable in the lower-half
of the display and the help screens. With suitable backgrounds this makes
it very hard to read the text so affected.
