Upstream's configury and make scripts create the shared library,
libadasockets.la, with the dreaded rpath option. This is a violation of
Debian Policy.

Debian should patch the makefile or configury to not add the rpath.

Closing two bugs against adasockets:

#383424: `the shared library has an rpath' because I can't see any sign of the problem (e.g., RPATH in the .so symbol dump). If there is a problem, please re-open this bug (or submit another).

#383434: `consider removing /usr/bin/adasockets-config' because at this time, I think it would cause inconvenience to end-users for no benefit. We might have to remove such scripts at a later date, but that doesn't apply right now.

Cheers,

Phil.
