I've had considerable difficulty using the ftp.is.debian.org mirror
with sid and etch due to that mirror being out of date, as a result
I've switched to using the .us. mirror. Examples of directories that
are out of date include (but are not limited to)
/debian/pool/main/r/ruby1.8/, the latest file in that directory on the
.us. mirror is from 2006-01-14 but the latest one on the .is. mirror
is from 2005-11-12.
