--- Begin Message ---Package: mailman Version: 2.1.5-2 Severity: minor Tags: patch l10n I think it is important to not _only_ use the ISO code, because someone only speaking, say, german would not necessarily know that ca stands for catalan (and not canadian), et for estonia (and not ethipia) and eu for bask (and not European Union). ca is the official domain for canada, eu for the EU and et for Ethopia, you see how easyly a user can therefore be mistaken. The patch fixes this. I personally would even remove the ISO code and only leave the language names, since the ISO code is redundant together with the names and also only confuses people. BTW: The Czech, French and German translations of templates.pot are already done, the way the patch looks. Still, if you apply the patch many strings will be marked fuzzy and translations will have to be updated -- please inform the translators of this and leave them some delay ("grep Last-Translator debian/po/*po" gives you their addresses) Jens--- debian/templates_orig 2004-10-14 17:17:11.000000000 +0200 +++ debian/templates 2004-10-14 17:29:06.000000000 +0200 @@ -2,7 +2,7 @@ # $Id: templates 182 2004-10-06 22:28:07Z gcs-guest $ Template: mailman/site_languages Type: multiselect -__Choices: big5, ca, cs, da, de, en, es, et, eu, fi, fr, hr, hu, it, ja, ko, lt, nl, no, pl, pt, pt_BR, ro, ru, sl, sr, sv, uk +__Choices: big5 (Chinese big5), ca (Catalan), cs (Czech), da (Danish), de (German), en (English), es (Spanish), et (Estonian), eu (Basque), fi (Finnish), fr (French), hr (Croatian), hu (Hungarian), it (Italian), ja (Japanese), ko (Korean), lt (Lithuanian), nl (Dutch), no (Norwegian), pl (Polish), pt (Portuguese), pt_BR (Brasilian Portuguese), ro (Romanian), ru (Russian), sl (Slovenian), sr (Serbian), sv (Swedish), uk (Ukrainian) Default: en _Description: Which languages to support?
