Package: inform-docs
Version: 6.21-2
Severity: normal
Attempting to set up inform-docs I get this:
Setting up inform-docs (6.21-2) ...
/var/lib/dpkg/info/inform-docs.postinst: update-menus: command not found
dpkg: error processing inform-docs (--configure):
subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 127
Errors were encountered while processing:
inform-docs
Might it perhaps ought to depend on the menu package?

This bug was fixed in an NMU, but never closed. I'm closing it with the
correct version so that its status can be properly version-tracked.
For reference:
inform (6.21-2.2) unstable; urgency=low
.
* NMU
* doc.postinst: Only call update-menus if it exists (closes: #126372).

Adam
